LA Carnivore's Paradise | Yazawa 🍖
Overall Review: It was a bit greasy, but it fully met my expectations! My partner and I each had the $180 Yazawa Omakase! Note that the Omakase is per person! If you're not a big fan of the richness of wagyu beef, think twice! The portion was quite large for me—I couldn't finish it all. ✋ I'm not a wizard, so I can't tell which part of the cow each piece of meat came from, and I've forgotten the details anyway. I apologize for the incomplete introduction! The following post will focus mainly on taste. If you need detailed information on the cuts, you can check out other reviews! ❤️Appetizer There were three appetizers made from wagyu beef. When I visited, they were toro sushi, wagyu tartare, and an unknown cooked wagyu (?). But all three were incredibly delicious and tender. The toro sushi had a slightly chewy texture! My favorite among them was the cooked wagyu, which was incredibly tender and soft, with a fantastic flavor! The accompanying vegetables were so good that even my partner, who never eats greens, finished them all! ❤️Part One - Two Types of Wagyu I have to say, the quality of their wagyu is truly excellent, and you can taste the difference. The first two types of wagyu were incredibly tender after being grilled, with rich fat that melted in your mouth. It was a carnivore's dream! (*≧ω≦) ❤️Yazawa-Yaki The experience of dipping a large piece of grilled meat, seasoned with sukiyaki sauce, into a bowl of raw egg and then savoring it was unparalleled! The meat was incredibly tender and smooth. What's unique about this place is that the raw egg is whipped into a frothy texture! Surprisingly, the frothy egg coating was less greasy than regular egg liquid—maybe it was just my imagination? But by this point, it was already clear... ❤️Part Two - Four Types of Wagyu Unfortunately, I could only manage the first two types of wagyu in this part. But they were all hits—tender and smooth! There aren't many words to describe grilled wagyu other than tender and smooth! But it's true! I was still enjoying it until this point, though it was getting a bit too rich for me. My partner even added more rice and tried a different type of wagyu! He said the last one was particularly delicious and tender! If you're not afraid of richness, give it a try and let me know how it is! ❤️In addition, we also ordered potato salad! It was pretty average—optional! But the apple juice! Don't miss it! Although apples are the most boring fruit in the world... apple juice is not! The apple juice with ice cubes was incredibly refreshing and helped cut through the richness. Otherwise, I wouldn't have made it to the second part of the wagyu... It tasted like pure, natural apple juice, giving me a sense of health and confidence. However, even after two cups, I still couldn't finish... ❤️The dessert isn't on the menu, but they do have it—probably ice cream, tiramisu, etc. After the wagyu barbecue, the waiter will ask you! Save some room for dessert because I thought the tiramisu was really good! #JapaneseBarbecue #Barbecue #Wagyu #LosAngelesFood
