LA Chinatown Food Review — DTLA AYCE KBBQ 🥩🔥
🎯 DTLA AYCE KBBQ 📍 686 N Spring St, Los Angeles, CA 90012 🕐 Open 5 PM Mon–Fri, 12 PM weekends 💰 ~$30–50 per person 🅿️ Street parking $4/hour, or a lot across the street (was $15 when we went — ouch!). Was craving meat but didn’t want to drive to Ktown, so tried this Korean BBQ sports bar in Chinatown. They currently have a special price of $26.95 per person, available all day! Includes plenty of classic KBBQ choices: beef belly, brisket, pork belly, pork jowl, shrimp, baby octopus, squid, etc. We actually went for the $39.95 tier (lured by extra sides and steak), but for pure meat satisfaction, the $26.95 tier is totally enough — great value! ❤️ ROSE DDUKBOKKI — sausage, rice cakes, bacon, and glass noodles in a creamy, slightly spicy tomato-based sauce. Even though we were full from meat, we finished this — chewy, savory, and so good! Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Also enjoyed: Ribeye steak (tender but limited — only one order for two people) Beef belly — nice fat-to-lean ratio Pork jowl — thick-cut, sizzling and rich dipped in salt Corn cheese — always a win 👍 Solid picks: beef brisket, pork belly, steamed egg, salad, fried calamari, seafood ramyun — all decent. 👎 Disappointments: Rib finger & LA Galbi (from the higher tier) — not tender, even a bit tough. Wish I had room for more — missed out on ramyun fried rice, Korean fried chicken, pork cutlet, kimchi soup, etc. Next time I’ll probably stick to the $26.95 tier — better value for my eyes-bigger-than-stomach situation. Also, no beef tongue on the higher tier — hope they add it! One cool thing: the restaurant is in a well-ventilated corridor, so you won’t leave smelling like BBQ. Another long-winded post-meal share! #AYCEBBQ #KoreanBBQ #LosAngeles #FoodReview 🥓✨
