LA Crudo e Nudo | Why Is This Dish So Beautiful? 😍

Strolling around Santa Monica today~ Seeing a very "LA" version of LA (think about it... is that a tongue-twister? 😂) This little spot is seriously cool—everyone’s super, super chill. In such a prime location, the vibe is effortlessly relaxed. Be prepared for a long, leisurely meal—it’s worth every minute! ~ The food itself is a work of art 🎨 So gorgeous, I’m honestly amazed. The large and small oysters have completely different textures—the big ones are chewy, the small ones are soft and creamy. The lemon oil pairing is genius. Salty like seawater but not fishy—a totally new experience! The squid ink rice is rich and oily—could get heavy after a while, but the flavor profile is delightful. Lots of crispy crust, like a seafood version of clay pot rice 🍚 The caviar nacho? Absolutely mind-blowing! So beautiful it’s almost unreal. I’d even forgive the chives inside (and I usually don’t like them!). The flavors are clever—each one stands out, but together? Can’t stop eating! (Already planning to recreate it at home… with extra avocado, of course 🥑) ~ Another happy weekend, I’d say! 🌞 Have you tried food that’s almost too pretty to eat?
