LA Date Night Spot | A Must-Try Black Truffle & Chicken Liver Toast

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner 🌹, and today I’m sharing one of my favorite romantic restaurants—a place that’s gained quite the reputation for its exquisite dishes and intimate ambiance. Perfect for a special date! ✨ Foie de Poulet à la Strasbourgeoise Chicken liver mousse is a classic French dish, and here, it’s taken to another level. The mousse is incredibly smooth and rich, spreading like velvet on buttery brioche toast. The black truffle sauce adds an earthy, luxurious note that ties everything together. As an appetizer, it’s an absolute masterpiece—I’d come back again and again just for this! ✨ Canard à la Rouennaise à la Presse This pressed duck preparation is a secret menu item and one of the restaurant’s signatures—be sure to reserve it in advance ❗️ The dish includes three parts: Pressed duck breast cooked medium-rare—tender and flavorful (note: may be too rare for some). Duck salad with a tangy vinaigrette that cuts through the richness, though it can be a bit oily. Duck leg bread pudding with fruit and dried bread—a unique combination that wasn’t quite to my taste. The portion is generous, meant for two, so plan your order accordingly. We skipped other mains because of it, but I’m already looking forward to trying more dishes next time! ✨ Soufflé Au Chocolat We ended with the chocolate soufflé, recommended by our server.
