LA Day Trip + Food Diary π½οΈβ¨
Havenβt been downtown in a while β brought the little one to apply for a Chinese visa and made a food tour out of it! Ending with my happy baby π. Holy Basil Market π π 3170 Glendale Blvd unit c, Los Angeles, CA 90039 Found this Thai street food spot on Red β a bit of a letdown. Only the stir-fried noodles were okay (but salty). Crab fried rice was mediocre. Space is tight β not stroller-friendly. Almost $100 for 4 items before tip. Oakobing πππ π 3300 W 6th St unit 2, Los Angeles, CA 90020 K-town shaved ice spot β mango and melon flavors were delicious! Perfect for summer π₯Ά. Portions are huge β enough for two. Hibake | Asian Fusion Bakery πππ π 235 N Canon Dr, Beverly Hills, CA 90210 Beverly Hills egg tart shop β got there near closing and scored buy 3 get 1 free! Tried original, mochi, Dubai chocolate, and matcha β all tasty. Pricey ($6β$8 each) but expected in BH. Ate them the next day β crust wasnβt crispy anymore π . : Damsot ππππ π 3377 Wilshire Blvd #112, Los Angeles, CA 90010 Back to K-town for dinner β this place seems newly opened. The eel rice was great β tender, not fishy at all. Fun touch: pouring barley tea over the crispy rice at the end! Clean and cozy inside. Honeymee πππ After eel rice, spotted this longtime ice cream shop with a line β a sweet end to a fun day! #LAEats #KtownLA #BeverlyHills #FoodTour #LADayTrip #FamilyEats #FoodieAdventure
