🎉 LA Diary | Celebrating My Birthday at a Hidden Gem Restaurant 🥳

Okay, I’m getting closer to the big 3-0… and honestly? Not super excited about that 😅 But you know what I still love? Making a birthday wish — I swear birthday wishes really do come true! 🌠 🫓 Laya – 📍 Hollywood As a huge fan of Middle Eastern food, I had to check out this spot! The restaurant is mostly set up in this beautiful outdoor structure — so dreamy at night 🌙 The pita and hummus are absolutely INSANE — honestly the best I’ve had in LA so far. And the lamb kebab? Tender, juicy… just wow 😍 They made my birthday extra special with a complimentary signature rose ice cream + pink cotton candy 🍧💖 and even lit a little candle for me 🕯️ (So many people were celebrating their birthdays here too!) ☕️ Qamaria Yemeni Coffee – 📍 Culver City A super interesting Yemeni café with two floors and plenty of seating — great for working or studying 💻 The pistachio coffee is their specialty, and they have lots of cakes (though a bit too sweet for me 🍰). A cool spot to experience a different culture! 🌯 Wake and Late – 📍 West Hollywood Let’s be real — their breakfast burrito is LEGENDARY 😏 PLEASE add steak — it’s so good it might just make you cry 😭 We usually go to the DTLA location, but the lines are crazy. This new spot has seating! And guess who we randomly saw there… AUSTIN BUTLER 👀 OMG he is even more gorgeous in person! ✨ 🖼️ Bergamot Station Arts Center – 📍 Santa Monica An art center made up of multiple galleries designed like shipping containers. They always have new exhibitions, and you’ll often see buyers selecting artwork 🎨 Spend an afternoon here — so many intriguing modern pieces to discover! 🍰 A Little Note from Xiao Fu… Every birthday reminds me how fast time flies! But I’m truly loving life in LA — there’s always something new to explore and learn, and I’m grateful for the people (and cats 🐱) who’ve been by my side.
