LA Downtown | Openaire – Maybe Skip It on Rainy Days 🥶💦
Their main feature is dining inside a greenhouse. But if it’s raining—don’t even bother! The greenhouse doors stay wide open, letting cold wind blow right in ❄️. Our table was right in the wind’s path—our food and coffee went cold in minutes 😔. We couldn’t relax or enjoy the meal, so we ate quickly and left. Definitely cancel if it’s raining—reschedule for a sunny day! ☀️ Also, the greenhouse isn’t as romantic as you’d think—no flowers, just leaves 🍃. Aren’t people worried about dried leaves falling into their food? 😅 🐟 AHI TUNA TARTARE 🐟 Almost every table orders this—it’s pretty for photos! Edges are lined with super thin sweet potato chips. Inside: raw tuna base topped with avocado. Taste-wise? Pretty average. 🫓 HUEVOS RANCHEROS 🫓 A Mexican-style tortilla topped with a bunch of sauces and avocado. Tastes exactly like something from a basic Mexican spot—salsa flavor, nothing special. My friends ordered a few other dishes, but we weren’t in the mood to share—we just ate and left 😅. 📍 3515 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90010 Have you been to Openaire or had a similar greenhouse dining experience?
