As one of LA’s most artistically distinctive buildings, Mission Inn is a fantastic choice for a quiet, beautiful meal with family or a few good friends—or just for a delicious coffee! ☕️ Located in Riverside in eastern LA, it’s a historic building and a four-star hotel that has undergone two major renovations… 📍 Mission Inn Hotel & Spa 🧭 3649 Mission Inn Avenue, Riverside, CA 92501 🅿️ Hotel parking is paid, but if you go on a non-holiday, street parking is available—many spots offer 30-minute to 2-hour limits on weekends. Inside the hotel, there are six restaurants: Average per person: $80–100 💲 1. DUANE'S PRIME STEAKS & SEAFOOD 2. THE CALIFORNIA LOUNGE 3. MISSION INN RESTAURANT 4. LAS CAMPANAS MEXICAN CUISINE & TEQUILA 5. BELLA TRATTORIA ITALIAN RESTAURANT 6. THE PRESIDENTIAL LOUNGE We’ve visited several times and tried three of them—the food is decent, but the atmosphere is the real winner! The hotel has four floors of guest rooms, each with uniquely charming hallways. The view from the top floor is absolutely stunning! Regular room rates: around $200 💲 Prices vary during holidays (check the official website). The streets around the hotel are full of character and super photogenic—especially during Christmas when the vibe is magical! There are also several unique restaurants nearby, including a taco spot my kids thought looked unsanitary from the outside (but it’s actually a wonderful family-run Mexican place with 30 years of history—all their décor is made from recycled materials!
