Was I just too hyped from the get-go? 😅 I went in fully prepared, thinking this would be a reliable, casually-great spot in DTLA for a bite. ...But wow, it was really... not good? 🙃 Went with my absolute favorite girls—mood was top-tier—and we still thought the food fell flat. Thought it might just be me, but nope, my friends agreed. 😇 Been a while since I’ve struck out in the Art District, ha! Gotta admit, the presentation was on point, though. The server brings over the selection box so you can see everything—super visual and fun. But about those 8+1 cocktails… hard pass. 🚫 We ordered three and didn’t finish a single one… If I had to pick highlights: the tamagoyaki (egg roll) and the bacon-wrapped yakisoba were pretty decent! 👍 So now the real question—PLEASE send me your best LA yakitori recommendations! 🍢🥺 I’m seriously missing places like Torigin right now!
