Last weekend, I finally went to Color Me Mine in Pasadena with friends for some painting fun, followed by dinner. After some online browsing, we got hooked on trying this Italian spot — Union! 1️⃣ Local Wild Mushrooms My friend and I loved this dish 😊 — a rich, cheesy polenta with earthy mushrooms. First bite totally woke up my appetite! Highly recommended for cheese and mushroom lovers. 2️⃣ Tonnarelli Cacio E Pepe Black pepper really shines in this pasta — noodles are on the firmer side, served with a soft-boiled egg. Breaking the egg mellows the pepper’s kick, and the leftover sauce is perfect for dipping bread! 3️⃣ Niman Ranch Pork Chop As meat lovers, we had to order the pork chop! Glazed with a sweet BBQ sauce, super juicy inside, and served with caramelized peaches for a tangy-sweet balance — not heavy at all 👍. They also have other signature pastas worth trying — overall, no disappointments! Great atmosphere and friendly service too.
