LA Food๏ฝJapanese Eats at Mitsuwa Marketplace ๐ฑ
After a long day of work, my colleagues (who are also my buddies!) and I headed out for some Japanese food. ๐ฑ Place: Mitsuwa Marketplace ๐ Address: 3760 S Centinela Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90066 ๐ Parking: Easy โ free lot right next door ๐ฐ Price: $10โ20 per person ๐ Rating: ๐๐๐๐ Yes, itโs a market โ but hidden inside are several legit Japanese food counters! ๐ค Hannosuke โ specializes in tempura ๐ฒ Tokyo Shokudo โ specializes in curry & rice bowls ๐ Sanuki Sandou โ specializes in udon noodles ๐ Santouka โ specializes in ramen I ordered the curry beef udon from Sanuki Sandou โ delicious! Only $9 โ great value for money. (I only remembered to take a photo halfway through eating ๐ ) The curry was lighter than I expected โ if you prefer thick curry, try Tokyo Shokudoโs curry rice (my friend confirmed itโs tasty!). We took over a big table, eating and chatting away ๐ After finishing, you can leave your dishes on the table โ cleaning staff will collect them. I tipped the cleaning auntie $1 โ I appreciate cleaning crews! ๐ After the meal, my friends bought Japanese sweets and snacks from the market to share. Got to try some โ so nice! ๐ค ๐ฅฐ Bonus for the fancy folks: Thereโs also a Kinokuniya bookstore inside selling manga and cute Japanese goods. Perfect for the artsy and cultured~ #MitsuwaLA #JapaneseMarket #UdonLove #BudgetEats #LAFoodScene #WestLAEats
