Borit Gogae 📍 3464 W 8th St, Los Angeles, CA 90005 🅿️ Free parking $29.99 per person for Korean bibimbap — comes with kimchi pancake, chicken stew, tofu soup, and ends with red bean barley porridge + dried persimmon. Looks like a full table but really just one big mixed rice bowl! LA Wangbal 📍 4251 W 3rd St, Los Angeles, CA 90020 🅿️ Free parking Craved pork feet — ordered a combo (spicy + non-spicy). Level 2 was crazy spicy — go for Level 1 if you can’t handle heat. Pork feet were super tender and flavorful. Also got ox bone soup and hand-rolled rice balls — way too much for two! Liu's Cafe 📍 3915 1/2 W 6th St, Los Angeles, CA 90020 🅿️ Street parking Only open weekday lunch! Braised pork rice, Chiayi chicken rice, and sesame noodle salad were all delicious. Pineapple bun and scallion rolls were good too — street parking fills up fast at noon. Danbi (formerly Tokki) 📍 3465 W 6th St Suite 90-100, Los Angeles, CA 90020 🅿️ Valet Korean bistro with mostly new menu — pork jowl, beef tartare with bone marrow, wagyu, scallion pancake with scallops, uni rice, mushroom rice — all solid. Olle Korean Cuisine 📍 745 S Oxford Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90005 🅿️ Free hotel parking New spot — traditional steamed duck over rice was fragrant, rib soup was tender. Ma Dang Gook Soo 📍 869 S Western Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90005 🅿️ Free parking Wanted noodles for breakfast — saw the handwritten wall menu and knew it was legit. Their knife-cut noodles were chewy and tasty, gimbap was great too. Jinsol Gukbap 8th 📍 3428 W 8th St, Los Angeles, CA 90005 🅿️ Valet Everything here is good — love their pork soup rice and spicy pork feet. Damsot 📍 3377 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90010 🅿️ Paid parking New trendy spot for Korean stone pot rice — a bit pricey. You can pour barley tea into the pot to eat the crispy rice at the end. #Foodie #LosAngeles #StudyAbroadLife #LA #KoreanFood #LAEats #Ktown #USC #FoodDiary
