LA Food β How Is Every Spot So Delicious?! ππ½οΈ
I absolutely love visiting LA β thereβs always a new restaurant to try, and they never disappoint! π₯ Manpuku A Japanese BBQ spot where I tried their single-person set for $69. It included short rib and ribeye, plus I added a sukiyaki wrap (a bit pricier but totally worth it!). Thin meat grilled quickly, wrapped around sushi rice, and dipped in sweet egg sauce β pure protein-carb bliss! Everything was excellent except the beef soup, which was just okay. Definitely coming back! π Oste Hands down the best meal of this trip β I missed it the very next day! π₯° Not as hyped on social media, but with a 4.7 Yelp rating, it lives up to the buzz. Make a reservation β even with plenty of seating, it was packed! Must-orders: the mussels (so plump and sweet) and Frutti Di Mare (seafood squid ink pasta that tasted like a seafood platter!). Also loved their risotto, tomato pasta, and pizza β seriously, no wrong choices here. π³ Eggslut A classic β and my first time trying it! The scrambled eggs were incredibly soft and creamy. I added avocado and sausage β so good! Open 8 AMβ2 PM (wish it were later β would be perfect for late-night too!). Their βSlutβ dish is pretty but just okay flavor-wise. πΏ Catch LA Went for the avocado toast (still good, though not as memorable as before). The mushroom spaghetti was on point, and the lobster mac & cheese and shakshuka are rich and comforting (maybe a bit heavy if youβre not into creamy/tomato-heavy dishes). π₯ BCD Tofu House I love their soft tofu soup, but the standout was the crispy yellow croaker β so tender and perfectly seasoned! I accidentally ordered a whole fish set and ended up with three fish in one night β no regrets! Open until 3 AM β LAβs late-night scene is everything. π In-N-Out Of course β canβt leave California without it! From high-end Italian to cozy Korean tofu houses, LAβs food scene truly has it all.
