We booked this West LA American-style restaurant for a friend’s birthday, and wow—what a vibe! The retro decor and moody lighting created the perfect atmosphere. We casually ordered a few dishes, and almost every single one had us screaming in delight—so good! 😋 🥇 Cornbread ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The star of the show! The moment it hit the table, the aroma was irresistible 🧈. Crispy on the outside, moist and fluffy inside, with a huge slab of melting butter—every bite was pure comfort. Hearty but not heavy, and unforgettable! 🥩 Grilled Elk Loin ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tender, juicy, and packed with flavor! The elk was cooked to perfection, paired with a fig glaze and seasonal veggies that added a sweet-savory depth. A total flavor explosion! 🔥 🦐 Shrimp & Grits ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This looked different from other versions I’ve seen online 👀, but delicious in its own way! The shrimp were plump and bouncy, the tomato-based sauce was rich and tangy, and the grits underneath were silky smooth. A must-try! 🥦 Cauliflower ⭐️⭐️⭐️ We ordered this as a side since nothing else stood out. Classic Western seasoning—decent but not mind-blowing. 🍰 Date Cake (Dessert) ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Very sweet… If you have a major sweet tooth, you’ll love it! Personally, a few bites were enough for me. 💰 Price per person: $80-100 📍 Hatchet Hall Address: 12517 W Washington Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90066 🚗 Parking Tip: Valet costs $16, but street parking is easy to find if you arrive early! #LADining #AmericanRestaurant #HiddenGems #LAFoodie #FoodPhotography #PrettyFood #FoodieAdventure #VibeyEats #RestaurantReview
