1. Borit Gogae 📍 3464 W 8th St, Los Angeles, CA 90005 🅿️ Free parking All about their $29.99 bibimbap set — includes kimchi pancake, chicken stew, tofu soup, and ends with red bean barley porridge + dried persimmon. Looks like a feast, but it’s basically a fancy rice bowl spread 😅. . LA Wangbal 📍 4251 W 3rd St, Los Angeles, CA 90020 🅿️ Free parking Craved pork trotters — got the combo (spicy + non-spicy). Level 2 was super hot 🌶️ — go for Level 1 if you’re sensitive to spice! The pork was tender and flavorful. Also ordered beef intestine soup and hand-rolled rice balls… way too much for two people! . Liu's Cafe 📍 3915 1/2 W 6th St, Los Angeles, CA 90020 🅿️ Street parking Only open weekdays for lunch! Their braised pork rice, Jiayi chicken rice, and sesame cold noodles are all delicious. Pineapple buns and scallion rolls are solid too — street parking fills up fast at noon. . Danbi 📍 3465 W 6th St Suite 90-100, Los Angeles, CA 90020 🅿️ Valet Formerly Tokki, now a Korean bistro. Tried almost the whole menu: pork neck, beef tartare with bone marrow, Wagyu, scallion pancake with scallops, uni rice, mushroom rice — all good! 🍖🥩🍚 . Olle Korean Cuisine 📍 745 S Oxford Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90005 🅿️ Free hotel parking New spot with traditional steamed duck over rice — fragrant and tasty! The short rib soup was also nice and tender. . Ma Dang Gook Soo 📍 869 S Western Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90005 🅿️ Free parking Wanted noodles for breakfast. Walked in, saw the handwritten menu on the wall and the auntie who didn’t speak much English — knew it was legit! Their hand-cut noodles are chewy and satisfying, and the kimbap is great too 🍜. . Jinsol Gukbap 8th 📍 3428 W 8th St, Los Angeles, CA 90005 🅿️ Valet parking Hard to go wrong here — love their pork soup rice and spicy pork trotters (warning: they’re fiery! 🔥). Damsot 📍 3377 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90010 🅿️ Paid parking Trendy new stone pot rice (spot — a bit pricey, but you can pour barley tea into the crispy rice crust at the end 🍵. #Foodie #LosAngeles #StudentLife #LAEats #KoreanFood #Ktown #USC #WhatToEat
