Went for Japanese food with a friend who traveled from afar~ 🍶 🍲 Restaurant: Sola Japanese Izakaya Dining 📍 Address: 15928 Ventura Blvd #120, Encino, CA 91436 🚙 Parking: The plaza parking is a bit pricey (forgot the exact rate), so street parking is recommended! 💸 🥰 Our Order: • Grilled Beef Tongue • Satay Grilled Squid • Chicken Katsu Curry Rice • Ume (Plum) Onigiri 💰 Total: $74 (including tax and ~15% tip) 💳 🔥 Grilled Beef Tongue – Black pepper flavor, super delicious! A must-order! 👅💫 🦑 Satay Grilled Squid – A bit sweet, decent but not amazing. I prefer savory or fried styles. 🍛 Chicken Katsu Curry – I loved the fried chicken in the curry, but my friend wasn’t a fan. 🍙 Ume Onigiri – Unfortunately, it was way too sour and salty.
