LA Food Explore|Who Would Guess I’m Eating AYCE? 😉
LA has a ton of AYCE BBQ spots, but the quality often sends me back to regular à la carte grills… Except this one — this place is worth it! 🏠 Chubby Cattle 📍 356 E 2nd St, Los Angeles, CA 90012 A Japanese-style BBQ with a huge variety — they even have sushi and hand rolls! But I skipped the carbs to save room for more meat 🥩 My favorite cut: Wagyu Otoro My friend thought it was a bit fatty, but I found it perfectly rich and aromatic — I finished five plates myself! It flames up beautifully on the grill 🔥 Service here is excellent — our server was super friendly and attentive, checking on us frequently (changed the grill multiple times!). They offer three price tiers — we went with Gold (middle tier), which lets you order some premium items. Loved the square box dish topped with uni and foie gras (or chicken liver?) — my friend wanted to film a fun boomerang for IG, but I ate it before they could 😂 💎 Membership tip: Gold and Silver tiers are similarly priced with a membership ($65 per person). Even though it’s in Little Tokyo, it’s on the edge — street parking is available nearby (and we all know how rare that is in Little Tokyo 😤). #LAfoodfinds #LABBQ #StudyInUSA #LifeLogging #LADining 🥓
