LA Food Guide: Must-Try Hits & Honest Reviews šŸ”šŸŒ®šŸœ

Here’s a roundup of my LA food adventures—some were so good they got their own dedicated posts! šŸ” In-N-Out Burger A California classic! Don’t miss the Animal Style burger and fries. Simple, fresh, and iconic. šŸ² Sun Nong Dan The go-to spot for Korean comfort food. Their galbi jjim (braised short ribs) with cheese is legendary, and the kimchi side dishes are top-tier. Open 24/7! šŸœ Tsujita LA Craving tsukemen? This is the place. The rich, savory broth and tender chashu make every bite unforgettable. šŸ„ Toadstool Cafe Located in Universal Studios’ Super Nintendo World, this themed spot serves fun dishes like mushroom soup and Mario Burgers—perfect for fans! šŸ›’ Erewhon LA’s infamous ā€œbougie grocery storeā€ with viral smoothies. Yes, they’re pricey, but the taste? Worth the hype (and the $$$). šŸ© Randy’s Donuts An LA landmark, but honestly? Too sweet for me. The matcha was okay, but the chocolate one had me reaching for water šŸ˜…. šŸŒ¶ļø Jitlada A Michelin-starred Thai gem! The curry crab, duck curry, and mango sticky rice are must-orders. Their Thai iced tea with crushed ice? Perfection. šŸ— Howlin’ Ray’s Nashville hot chicken that’s worth the wait. I went with Medium spice—flavorful with just the right kick! šŸ± Daikokuya A Little Tokyo staple, but lately it’s been too salty for my taste. Used to be a great deal—now just okay. šŸ¦€ The Boiling Crab Seafood boil dreams come true! Get the shrimp or crab with their signature sauce, and don’t skip the garlic butter fries. šŸ› Chubby Curry Cute but mid. Their katsu and curry didn’t impress me—Kagura does it way better. šŸ— EL Pollo Loco Solid Mexican-style grilled chicken. The chicken itself is juicy and well-seasoned, but the sides? Meh. 🌮 Guelaguetza Authentic Oaxacan flavors! Their Mole Negro is rich, complex, and deeply satisfying. 🄩 Kagura The BEST katsu curry in town. Thick, juicy cutlets and creamy, flavorful curry—every bite is heaven. šŸ¢ MaLu Bian Bian A fantastic all-you-can-eat hot pot and skewer spot in Irvine. The spicy broth and crispy fried snacks are a win! #LAFoodGuide #MustTryLA #FoodieReview #EatLikeALocal #LAEats #FoodLover
