๐ LA Friends, RUN to Try This Sweet & Sour Pork and Spicy Eggplant!
Seriously โ SO incredibly delicious!! Their Guo Bao Rou (crispy sweet & sour pork) is consistently amazing โ tender inside, crispy outside, coated in that perfect tangy-sweet glaze. Iโve had it over five times and it never disappoints. ๐ NEW DISH: Flavorful Eggplant Just spotted this on the updated menu and had to order! The eggplant is lightly fried โ crispy outside, soft inside โ tossed in a sweet, tangy, slightly spicy & numbing sauce. So addictive I couldnโt stop eating! (If it were a bit crispier, itโd be even more perfect ๐คค) ๐ Braised Pork Knuckle Fall-off-the-bone tender, savory and rich. The skin is super soft (almost too fatty for me), but the lean meat inside is wonderfully flavorful, tender, and pairs perfectly with rice. ๐ Cold Noodles Freshly pressed and refreshing โ a great side. Just a small suggestion: as a Northeastern Chinese restaurant, please consider using authentic Northeastern rice โ even if it costs a bit more, itโd make the meal feel even more like home! ๐ Old Northeast Restaurant 18025 Gale Ave, City of Industry, CA 91748 If youโre craving hearty, authentic Northeastern flavors in LA โ this is your spot! ๐ฅข๐ #LosAngelesEats #ChineseFoodLA #GuoBaoRou #ComfortFood #NortheasternCuisine #LAFoodie #CityOfIndustry #TryThis #FoodReview #HomeStyleCooking
