LA Hot Pot AYCE Is So Good! Oysters & Wagyu All-You-Can-Eat
Coming to San Gabriel’s food heaven really feels like going back home! This hot pot spot isn’t just high value — it even includes Argentinian red shrimp in the AYCE, which I’ve been craving forever! 🦐 📍 Foodie Hot Pot & BBQ 500 E Valley Blvd Unit C&D, San Gabriel, CA 91776 Lunch is $29 per person, but we went for dinner and chose Hot Pot Package B ($44 per person). It includes everything from Package A — Angus beef, black pork, lamb shoulder — plus premium add-ons like: frog legs, pork brain, Argentinian red shrimp, oysters, and wagyu beef! 🦐 The Argentinian red shrimp are huge, with delicious roe in the head — super flavorful. 🦪 The oysters are plump and juicy — we just blanched them for a few seconds so they stayed silky and sweet. We couldn’t get enough! 🥩 The wagyu only needs a quick dip — not as fatty as Japanese A5, but still incredibly tender. 🦑 Self-serve station: Lots of variety here! The shrimp paste in piping bags is especially fun — squeeze out as much as you want for the freshest bite. Plus veggies, meatballs, tofu, and more — easy to build your perfect hot pot combo. 🥢 Sauce & sides bar: All the dipping sauces, condiments, cold dishes, soups, and snacks you could want. These little extras really round out the meal! 🍨 Everyone gets Haagen-Dazs ice cream after the meal — though we were too stuffed this time to even think about dessert or BBQ.
