🍧 LA is Just Too Delicious 🥲 3 Days of Non-Stop Eating

Here’s my real-deal food recap after a deliciously packed long weekend in Los Angeles: ✅ HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 🧁 Desserts & Sweets: 1️⃣ HAMADA-YA BAKERY Looked simple but totally surprised me! Creme Cornet – not too sweet, perfectly creamy Coffee Jelly Milk – absolutely heavenly A must-try if you’re visiting Mitsuwa! 2️⃣ Millet Crepe Caramelized top + soft filling = texture heaven. Not overly sweet, though it gets rich toward the end. 3️⃣ Melo Melo LA’s famous coconut pudding! Tried Durian Black Glutinous Rice and Triple Latte — both were great! 📍 Pro tip: Hit Sawtelle and grab Millet Crepe + Melo Melo together. 4️⃣ Cafe de Mama Some say it’s LA’s best boba — I agree! Soy Milk Latte with Mochi – creamy, chewy, dreamy Add a shot of espresso – cuts the richness perfectly 🍳 Brunch: Sqirl Creative and tasty — but seating is super limited. Mint Chocolate Matcha Latte – refreshing Rainbow Toast – savory ricotta + daily jam = genius Brown Rice Salad – great texture! 🍢 Chinese: Fengmao BBQ My first DIY barbecue experience — so authentic! Order the lamb skewers (10+ recommended). They even gave us a cute sheep mug 🐑 as a gift — no idea why, but we’ll take it! 🤷‍♀️ OK – But Not Worth a Special Trip 1️⃣ Yamari Very bitter matcha — only for hardcore matcha lovers. My friend couldn’t handle it. 2️⃣ République Overhyped. Glad we didn’t wait in line. Only the mushroom toast and croissants stood out. The kimchi fried rice? Not worth the hype — or the $100 bill. 3️⃣ Coin de Rue Right next to Cafe de Mama, so we tried it. Black sesame bun & sweet potato bun were way too sweet, and the bread was just okay. 4️⃣ Cho Dol Poong (Ktown) A random spot for grilled intestines. Combo included large intestine, small intestine, and heart. Large intestine was crispy and good, but everything got heavy fast. The cheesy fried rice was mushy — not my thing. LA, you were wildly tasty — and my sweet tooth has never been happier 😭🙏 #LAEats #LADesserts #BestBoba #MitsuwaBakery #Sqirl #CafeDeMama #KoreanBBQ
