LA Italian Michelin One-Star — Osteria Mozza 🍝✨
So delicious, reasonably priced, and great value! I didn’t even order the viral dishes from social media lol, but everything was amazing 😋. The only downside: parking is tough — street parking is restricted nearby, so we ended up using valet. Name: Osteria Mozza Address: 6602 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90038 • Smoked mozzarella with prosciutto: Super tasty — the combination was unexpectedly fantastic! 🧀🍖 • Complimentary bread: Thick-cut sourdough soaked in olive oil, roasted with garlic and rosemary — crispy, fragrant, and absolutely delicious. It’s the first item on the menu, easy to miss but don’t skip it! 🤣 • Rabbit pappardelle: Slow-cooked in tomato sauce with great seasoning. My boyfriend loved it, and it reminded me of my homemade tomato-braised beef brisket — highly recommend! 🐰🍅 • Steak: Cooked with morel mushrooms and rosemary butter. The broth was light and infused with morel flavor — not heavy at all. The steak itself was decent (though maybe not from happy cows lol), but the sauce stole the show! 🥩🍄 • Dessert: Tiramisu with whole roasted hazelnuts on top — so aromatic! A perfect sweet ending. 🍫🌰 We’ll definitely be back! Way better than Bestia (in my opinion), and surprisingly affordable. With four glasses of wine between two people, it came to just $150 per person — such a great deal! 🍷💫 Have you been to Osteria Mozza? What’s your favorite dish there?
