LA Italian Spot for Carb-Loading & Gossip 🍝✨

Donna's Booked a month in advance for this famously hard-to-reserve Italian wine bar…and only managed to snag a Friday 5:15 PM slot. Located in Echo Park — parking is notoriously tough 🚗💨 Basically rely on luck for street parking. Check signs carefully on nearby streets—some require permits. The lot next door was full before 5 PM (don’t ask how I know 😅). When ordering, the server recommended all pasta dishes — Appetizer: sourdough, main: pasta, dessert: cookies… No choice — Italian food is just a carb party 🎉 (Shrimp scampi was off the menu due to high tariffs.) Though it’s a wine bar, we skipped alcohol since we drove 🚙🍷 Next time for sure! Tables are fairly close together, and the vibe is lively (a bit noisy). So if you’re drinking and gossiping…keep it down, neighbors can hear 👂😉 Definitely coming back — still need to try the linguine & clams everyone raves about!
