After work on Monday, my friend and I were in West LA running errands and randomly picked a Japanese spot — didn’t expect their sushi rolls to be such a steal! The tonkatsu was fried perfectly — crispy coating, dipped in classic tonkatsu sauce (sweet but not cloying). The set also comes with rice, salad, miso soup, apple-potato mash, and sides — great value and filling for one. 🍣 Sushi Rolls Baked Salmon Roll — We all loved this! Baked salmon brings a creamy, slightly charred aroma — outer layer crispy, inside tender. Paired with the California roll underneath, the texture combo is fantastic. Super Dragon Roll — Loaded with eel on top — feels luxurious! Topped with jalapeño and fried garlic slices — sweet, savory, smoky eel with crispy-spicy accents — super layered.
