LA Japanese Food|Drove 40 Minutes Just for This Beef Bowl 🚗🍚
Made the 40+ minute drive to Torrance for the first time — totally worth it for this amazing Japanese spot! Visited the popular Red Rock in Nijiya Plaza. 🐮 Beef Bowl (Gyudon) — price as shown in photo Taste: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Value: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Must order the large size — beef piled high! Add a raw egg for extra richness. The beef is cooked between rare and medium — tender and magical. A must-try! 🐮 Beef Tongue Rice Bowl Taste: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Value: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The beef tongue is incredibly flavorful — only downside is the portion is a bit small, so you might leave wanting more! Since both bowls were on the smaller side, we weren’t fully satisfied, so we wandered over to Nijiya Market in the same plaza. 🛒 Inside: Ready-to-eat: oden, sashimi, raw eggs (for dipping), all kinds of Japanese ingredients for stocking up Prepared foods: fried snacks 🍤, Japanese desserts 🍰, bento boxes 🍱 You can eat at the tables outside the market — watching the sunset while enjoying your meal is pure vibes! 🌅 #RedRockTorrance #Gyudon #BeefBowl #BeefTongue #NijiyaMarket #TorranceEats
