LA K-Town Food Diary โ๏ธ๐ด | Red & Black List of 8 Korean Spots! ๐คค
I absolutely love eating in K-Town โ hereโs my fresh take on 8 popular Korean spots, from must-visits to maybe-skips: โ RED LIST โ Worth the Visit! 1๏ธโฃ Lasung Tofu & Pot Rice ๐ 3060 W Olympic Blvd Ste 150 My go-to spot! Their lunch brunch includes donabe rice, tofu soup, and a drink from ROK Coffee (even matcha!). The steak rice pot is my #1 โ tender meat, rich flavor. Spacious, clean, with valet parking. 2๏ธโฃ Mapo Chicken ๐ 1008 S Saint Andrews Pl Spicy stir-fried chicken that I crave regularly! ๐ถ๏ธ So flavorful โ we always end with fried rice cooked in the leftover sauce. Perfect for 2โ3 people. 3๏ธโฃ Damsot ๐ 3377 Wilshire Blvd Unit 112 Popular for donabe rice sets โ lots of choices! I love the spicy tofu and eggplant sides. You can finish by turning it into rice soup. Good, but Lasungโs beef still wins. 4๏ธโฃ Origin ๐ 3465 W 6th St Ste 20 Clean, quality Korean BBQ โ I especially love their thin-sliced pork belly. Portions are huge โ a combo can easily feed three. 5๏ธโฃ BCD Tofu House ๐ 3575 Wilshire Blvd A long-time favorite! I still canโt resist their free fried yellow croaker ๐ โ and the tofu soup always hits the spot. 6๏ธโฃ Dan Sung Sa ๐ 3317 W 6th St My top late-night spot! Perfect for drinks, skewers, and Korean pub vibes ๐ป โ BLACK LIST โ Not For Me 7๏ธโฃ Olle ๐ 745 S Oxford Ave The steamed meat was too bland for me, and the price didnโt match the experience. Not recommended if you like bold flavors. 8๏ธโฃ Jinsol ๐ 4031 W 3rd St Their spicy pork feet were tasty, but the pork soup didnโt do it for me โ just not my style. Whether you're a local or a visitor โ this list will help you eat well in K-Town without the guesswork! #LAEats #KtownLA #KoreanFood #FoodDiary #RedAndBlackList #BestTofuSoup #BBQTime
