LA K-Town Food Diary βοΈπ΄ | Red & Black List of 8 Korean Spots! π€€
I absolutely love eating in K-Town β hereβs my fresh take on 8 popular Korean spots, from must-visits to maybe-skips: β RED LIST β Worth the Visit! 1οΈβ£ Lasung Tofu & Pot Rice π 3060 W Olympic Blvd Ste 150 My go-to spot! Their lunch brunch includes donabe rice, tofu soup, and a drink from ROK Coffee (even matcha!). The steak rice pot is my #1 β tender meat, rich flavor. Spacious, clean, with valet parking. 2οΈβ£ Mapo Chicken π 1008 S Saint Andrews Pl Spicy stir-fried chicken that I crave regularly! πΆοΈ So flavorful β we always end with fried rice cooked in the leftover sauce. Perfect for 2β3 people. 3οΈβ£ Damsot π 3377 Wilshire Blvd Unit 112 Popular for donabe rice sets β lots of choices! I love the spicy tofu and eggplant sides. You can finish by turning it into rice soup. Good, but Lasungβs beef still wins. 4οΈβ£ Origin π 3465 W 6th St Ste 20 Clean, quality Korean BBQ β I especially love their thin-sliced pork belly. Portions are huge β a combo can easily feed three. 5οΈβ£ BCD Tofu House π 3575 Wilshire Blvd A long-time favorite! I still canβt resist their free fried yellow croaker π β and the tofu soup always hits the spot. 6οΈβ£ Dan Sung Sa π 3317 W 6th St My top late-night spot! Perfect for drinks, skewers, and Korean pub vibes π» β BLACK LIST β Not For Me 7οΈβ£ Olle π 745 S Oxford Ave The steamed meat was too bland for me, and the price didnβt match the experience. Not recommended if you like bold flavors. 8οΈβ£ Jinsol π 4031 W 3rd St Their spicy pork feet were tasty, but the pork soup didnβt do it for me β just not my style. Whether you're a local or a visitor β this list will help you eat well in K-Town without the guesswork! #LAEats #KtownLA #KoreanFood #FoodDiary #RedAndBlackList #BestTofuSoup #BBQTime
