LA K-Town Food Diary ✏️🍴 | Red & Black List of 8 Korean Spots! 🀀

I absolutely love eating in K-Town β€” here’s my fresh take on 8 popular Korean spots, from must-visits to maybe-skips: βœ… RED LIST – Worth the Visit! 1️⃣ Lasung Tofu & Pot Rice πŸ“ 3060 W Olympic Blvd Ste 150 My go-to spot! Their lunch brunch includes donabe rice, tofu soup, and a drink from ROK Coffee (even matcha!). The steak rice pot is my #1 β€” tender meat, rich flavor. Spacious, clean, with valet parking. 2️⃣ Mapo Chicken πŸ“ 1008 S Saint Andrews Pl Spicy stir-fried chicken that I crave regularly! 🌢️ So flavorful β€” we always end with fried rice cooked in the leftover sauce. Perfect for 2–3 people. 3️⃣ Damsot πŸ“ 3377 Wilshire Blvd Unit 112 Popular for donabe rice sets β€” lots of choices! I love the spicy tofu and eggplant sides. You can finish by turning it into rice soup. Good, but Lasung’s beef still wins. 4️⃣ Origin πŸ“ 3465 W 6th St Ste 20 Clean, quality Korean BBQ β€” I especially love their thin-sliced pork belly. Portions are huge β€” a combo can easily feed three. 5️⃣ BCD Tofu House πŸ“ 3575 Wilshire Blvd A long-time favorite! I still can’t resist their free fried yellow croaker 🐟 β€” and the tofu soup always hits the spot. 6️⃣ Dan Sung Sa πŸ“ 3317 W 6th St My top late-night spot! Perfect for drinks, skewers, and Korean pub vibes 🍻 ❌ BLACK LIST – Not For Me 7️⃣ Olle πŸ“ 745 S Oxford Ave The steamed meat was too bland for me, and the price didn’t match the experience. Not recommended if you like bold flavors. 8️⃣ Jinsol πŸ“ 4031 W 3rd St Their spicy pork feet were tasty, but the pork soup didn’t do it for me β€” just not my style. Whether you're a local or a visitor β€” this list will help you eat well in K-Town without the guesswork! #LAEats #KtownLA #KoreanFood #FoodDiary #RedAndBlackList #BestTofuSoup #BBQTime
