LA Korean Food|Hangari Kalguksu 🍜✨

A famous chicken noodle soup spot in Ktown — definitely worth a try. Located in the same super popular plaza as Sun Nong Dan, Louders, and Melo Melo. Valet was full, so we ended up parking in the H Mart garage across the street. We ordered two bowls of chicken noodle soup — one with scallions, one without — highlighting the two main elements: half a chicken and starchy vegetables. I do wonder if Koreans have a particular fondness for milky-white broths. Where I'm from, a top-tier chicken soup should have clear broth with a layer of chicken oil on top — but hey, different styles, both delicious!❤️😊 The noodles are the real star — thick, hand-cut, super chewy. You can enjoy them strand by strand 🍜 The broth is thickened with potatoes and kabocha squash, making it even heartier. Personally, I’d prefer some fresh leafy greens for balance, but it’s still satisfying. A big plus: I drank two bowls and didn’t feel thirsty afterward — probably not loaded with MSG 👍 The beef bibimbap was standard Korean-style beef — sweet and fine, nothing special. It was one of LA’s rare cloudy days — on the way to pick up a friend, I caught a distant glimpse of the Hollywood Sign from the red light 🏙️✨ Total: $95.26 #LosAngeles #LAFood #Foodie #California #StudyAbroadEats #GlobalEats #KoreanFood
