LA Korean Home Cooking – Tender Pork Hock & Hearty Bone Soup! 🍲✨
Found a super affordable, authentic Korean family restaurant in K-town that feels straight out of a K-drama. Packed with local Korean families, Jang Tuh Bossam delivers huge portions, homestyle flavors, and incredible value. 📍 Jang Tuh Bossam 857 S Western Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90005 🍖 What We Ordered: Broiled Pork Belly + Glazed Pig Hock – Tender, melt-in-your-mouth pork hock wrapped in pickled radish with egg sauce. Fire-torched tableside for extra aroma. Pork Backbone Soup – Rich, savory broth with ~10 meaty bones and fragrant perilla leaves. We finished multiple bowls. Spicy Stir-Fried Korean Blood Sausage – Sticky rice stuffed, wok-tossed with cabbage and chives in classic Korean seasoning. 💸 Price: So reasonable we had half the food leftover for three people! 🅿️ Parking: Free in the plaza. Already dreaming of my next visit to try more of the menu—this place is a true K-town treasure for hearty, satisfying Korean comfort food. #JangTuhBossam #LosAngeles #KoreanFood #PorkHock #BoneSoup #Ktown #ComfortFood #LAEats #HiddenGem #MustTry #EatLocal #FamilyStyle #BigPortions #FoodieValue
