LA Koreatown|Eating Beef Tartare at a Korean BBQ Spot 🥩✨

I give it four stars: 🌟🌟🌟🌟 📍 Address: 621 S Western Ave #100, Los Angeles, CA 90005 One star is specifically for the Beef Tartare — lately I've been enjoying beef tartare in French restaurants, but besides that, French cuisine doesn’t always hit the spot (mostly because I leave hungry 😂). Service & Ambience 🌿 Surprisingly, this Korean spot offers beef tartare, so that’s what drew us in. The staff grill for you, the vibe is nice, and the wooden door handle reads — though it’s a bit hard to find. No wait on weekdays. Parking tip: park at the nearby HMart ($10/hour), then after your meal, buy something from the market and get your parking validated at the service counter (a little life hack 😉). What We Ordered 🥘 Two people, two meats, one beef tartare, and one soft tofu stew — we ended up taking nearly a whole portion of meat home! Cut #41: Not recommended — for some reason, it was tough after grilling. Cut #42: Excellent quality, melts in your mouth. Soft Tofu Stew: Mark loved it — warm and comforting, perfect for fall/winter. Beef Tartare: Comes with raw egg and shredded pear at the bottom — so refreshing with the raw beef! Value Check 🥄 💰 Price: Mid to high range — our meal was over $200. Per person around $80+, and with tax and tip, it’s about $100 per head. Meat cuts start at $50+ each. Overall, it wasn’t mind-blowing — in LA, most Korean spots are already delicious. You could opt for more budget-friendly, casual places. If it weren’t for the beef tartare, we probably wouldn’t have come. #LAFood #LAKoreatown #LAKoreanBBQ #BeefTartare #KoreanBBQ #LADining #FoodReview
