La Loba: A Spanish Woodland Experience with Unexpected Grace 🪵✨
Celebrated a birthday at La Loba in 1 Hotel—and left with more than just a full stomach. The vibe, service, and little details made it memorable. 🍸 Creative Cocktails & “Hydroponic” Humor Tried the namesake La Loba and the blogger-recommended Perfect Day—both refreshing, not bitter, fitting the mood. Though the “hydroponic” presentation of Perfect Day was… hilariously unexpected 🌱😂 🦪 Starters: Hits & Miss Carpaccio: Ham + crème fraîche + crispy puff, one-bite bliss 🌟 Scallop Crudo: Thai-inspired, bright and fresh Tokyo Oyster: A bit fishy that day, small and watery 🍝 Mains & The Long Wait Seafood pasta and kimchi cod were tasty, but we waited nearly an hour… Just as we were getting restless, the server brought over a handwritten note, candle, and a large sparkling rosé—mood instantly lifted! 🍰 Dessert & The Surprise Discount Pistachio tiramisu lived up to the hype—coffee ice cream, mousse, and pistachio paste combo was perfect. At checkout, we realized two mains and a dessert were comped—server said it was due to the slow service, covering $100+. We tipped generously in return 💖 🏙️ Verdict: Customer Obsession Done Right Located next to Amazon offices, I expected mediocre—but this place won me over with sincere service and thoughtful recovery. Food was solid, experience was outstanding—will be back. #SeattleLife #SeattleEats #SeattleRestaurants #SeattleFoodFind #BirthdayDinner #SpanishCuisine #ServiceWithHeart
