๐ LA Log๏ฝAnyone Else Love Japanese-Style Pasta?
Ever since I started documenting our daily life here, Iโve enjoyed even more exploring new spots with my oppa ๐. Over the past two years dating this local guy, weโve visited no less than 200 cafes across LA and OC! Weโre always on Instagram hunting soft-opening news โ๏ธ๐. Sometimes I really wish Iโd started sharing our food adventures earlier! ๐ Unico Tokyo Pasta โ Redondo Beach We both love Italian-Japanese fusion! Their menu is sorted by sauce types, with limited side options โ clearly a pasta-focused spot ๐ ๐ง. We ordered: Uni Truffle Pasta ๐ฏ (AMAZING! A must-order!) Curry Bolognese ๐ค (Just okayโฆ) ๐ก Tip: Stick to seafood-based pastas! My all-time favorite Italian-Japanese spot is still Bistro Kaz โ their cold pasta and Japanese-style pizza are dream-worthy ๐ญโจ (Too bad itโs all the way in SD!) ๐ต First Flight Coffee โ Torrance Just look at this flight set โ so pretty, right? It includes all their signature drinks, each with unique and unexpected flavors โจ. My favorite was the Peach Tea ๐๐! โ๏ธ Kissaten Corazon โ Chinatown A newly opened cafe with a classic, elegant vibe ๐๏ธ. Drinking coffee here makes me feel so refined lol โ and itโs super photogenic! Even their ordering counter has a special charm ๐ธ. ๐ฅพ Sturtevant Falls Hiking Trail โ Arcadia We went hiking on a cloudy day โ just the two of us ๐. The round trip took about 2 hours, and we made it to the waterfall! Cleared our lungs, soaked in the cool stream views ๐ฟ๐ฆ, and came back totally exhausted ๐. โ Nice slope, shady and refreshing โ highly recommended! ๐ฐ Little Fuโs Chit-Chat The other day, my oppa made Korean chive and squid pancakes at home โ looked decent, butโฆ he forgot to add salt ๐. He mentioned that in Korea these days, more young guys cook than girls โ and heโd never dated a girl who could cook before me ๐ง. I proudly told him: Most Chinese girls are cooking pros! ๐ณ๐ฉโ๐ณ๐ฅ #LosAngeles #KoreanCouple #JapanesePasta #CafeHopping #HikingDiaries #FoodieCouple
