🍗 LA Log | My Go-To Spot for Korean Fried Chicken
The weather’s finally getting chilly — even saw people wearing puffy coats in the office! Guess some LA locals do feel the cold 🥶❄️ 🍗 Pelicana Chicken 📍Ktown A legit Korean fried chicken spot that even Koreans order from again and again! Saw groups hanging out in the afternoon with full tables of beer and chicken 🍺😋 Must-order: Half Original + Half Signature Sauce — huge basket, great value! Their sides are top-notch too 👍 🐷 My Donkatsu 📍Ktown Tried many pork cutlet places, but this one’s a new fave! Their cheese donkatsu is not my top pick — a bit too much cheese over pork 🧀 But the Unagi (eel) cutlet totally surprised us — so crispy and flavorful! The owner is super sweet and welcoming 💖 🌮 K Pasa 📍Ktown Can’t believe not everyone knows about this taco gem! It’s “Korean-inspired,” but only a few flavors stand out. Unexpected star: Cilantro Lime Chicken Taco — super juicy! If you like crispy shells, try the Vampiros 🌮💥 ☕️ Comet over Delphi 📍Highland Park They use a super cool espresso machine ☕️🤖 The vibe is effortlessly artsy — relaxed but stylish 🎨 We tried: Magic (Australian-style, like a stronger flat white) Shaken (layered milk coffee — you shake it yourself!) My pick: Magic — rich and smooth! 🍰 Xiaofu’s Little Notes 🧘♂️ Took my oppa to try pilates — he almost made us late and sprinted there 🏃♂️ He was sweating within 5 minutes and couldn’t straighten his legs during stretches 😂 So. Much. Laughter. ⚾️ Sports Pub Rec: The Nickel Mine 📍Near UCLA Amazing vibe for watching games! Great food and drinks too 🍻 #LosAngelesEats #KoreanFriedChicken #KtownFavorites #DateIdeasLA #LACafe #SportsBar
