LA Michelin-Starred Thai Food | Jitlada πβ¨
This is a really delicious Southern Thai restaurant! I personally think it's a bit tastier than Ruen Pair π But the portions are on the smaller side. Three of us ordered five dishes... We cleaned every plate π½οΈ But still didnβt feel totally full! The vibe in this cozy spot is super warm and welcoming. We walked in without a reservation, but when we left, there was a long line outside! πΆβοΈπ«πΆ π 21 Crying Tiger - Beef Really tasty grilled beef strips! The beef has a slight sweetness to it, and when you dip it in the provided sauce, it gets an extra kick of spice πΆοΈ Some pieces were a bit fatty, but the sauce made it all feel refreshing. π¦ 132. Flambe Prawns Tiger prawns grilled in coconut milk β very rich coconut flavor π₯₯ But only two prawns (cut in half)... The shrimp meat wasnβt super springy, but still flavorful. π₯ 172. Morning Glory Stir-fried water spinach! A bit on the oily side, but the sauce had a subtle sweetness. The greens were cut pretty small β easy to eat. π 160. Three Flavored Fish Made with sea bass β probably the best dish of the meal! The fish skin was fried super crispy, and the meat came off the bone easily ππ― No fishy taste at all. We ordered a small oneβ¦ Definitely not enough to share! The only downside: the fish was slightly tougher than river fish, but maybe thatβs just how sea bass is. π· 107. Jungle Curry Crispy Pork A spicy curry soup π²πΆοΈ Itβs got some heat! Inside: crispy pork belly and veggies. The vegetables tasted especially fresh and sweet against the rich curry. π§ Thai Iced Tea Their version felt richer and creamier β more milky than others Iβve tried! π₯€β€οΈ π° Total came to $155 before tip. π ΏοΈ Parking is tricky β they offer valet but spaces are limited.
