LA Michelin-Starred Thai Food | Jitlada πŸ›βœ¨

This is a really delicious Southern Thai restaurant! I personally think it's a bit tastier than Ruen Pair πŸ˜‰ But the portions are on the smaller side. Three of us ordered five dishes... We cleaned every plate 🍽️ But still didn’t feel totally full! The vibe in this cozy spot is super warm and welcoming. We walked in without a reservation, but when we left, there was a long line outside! πŸšΆβ™€οΈπŸ‘«πŸšΆ πŸ‚ 21 Crying Tiger - Beef Really tasty grilled beef strips! The beef has a slight sweetness to it, and when you dip it in the provided sauce, it gets an extra kick of spice 🌢️ Some pieces were a bit fatty, but the sauce made it all feel refreshing. 🦐 132. Flambe Prawns Tiger prawns grilled in coconut milk β€” very rich coconut flavor πŸ₯₯ But only two prawns (cut in half)... The shrimp meat wasn’t super springy, but still flavorful. πŸ₯— 172. Morning Glory Stir-fried water spinach! A bit on the oily side, but the sauce had a subtle sweetness. The greens were cut pretty small β€” easy to eat. 🐟 160. Three Flavored Fish Made with sea bass β€” probably the best dish of the meal! The fish skin was fried super crispy, and the meat came off the bone easily πŸŸπŸ’― No fishy taste at all. We ordered a small one… Definitely not enough to share! The only downside: the fish was slightly tougher than river fish, but maybe that’s just how sea bass is. 🐷 107. Jungle Curry Crispy Pork A spicy curry soup 🍲🌢️ It’s got some heat! Inside: crispy pork belly and veggies. The vegetables tasted especially fresh and sweet against the rich curry. πŸ§‹ Thai Iced Tea Their version felt richer and creamier β€” more milky than others I’ve tried! πŸ₯€β€οΈ πŸ’° Total came to $155 before tip. πŸ…ΏοΈ Parking is tricky β€” they offer valet but spaces are limited.
