LA Must-Try! The Celebrity-Loved Thai Spot Even Blackpink Visited 🖤

This Los Angeles Thai restaurant once held a Michelin star and has been visited by countless celebrities — Blackpink included! The place feels charmingly vintage, with walls covered in awards and press clips. The menu is massive — Jitlada’s menu is like a textbook, with over 300 dishes, making it one of the most diverse Thai spots in LA. 🦀 Must-try Southern Thai Curry Crab — spicy, fragrant, and packed with fresh crab meat in rich coconut curry sauce. So good you’ll lick your fingers! 🍚 Crab Fried Rice — wok-fried to perfection, each grain dry yet springy — similar to Cantonese-style egg fried rice in its “wok hei” glory. 🥗 Fried Water Spinach Salad — a signature dish, tangy and addictive. 🦐 Tiger Shrimp & Mango Salad — not your typical mango salad; the mango is fried, crispy with a sweet-sour sauce. Tasty, but a bit similar to the water spinach salad — maybe pick one. 🥭 Mango Sticky Rice — decent but not mind-blowing. The Thai sticky rice had a nice chew, but the mango (Mexican variety) wasn’t very sweet. Overall — we ordered a lot and finished everything! The food is flavorful, lively, and feels slightly adapted to American tastes (more frying, sweeter sauces). Worth revisiting! We went before 6 PM on a weekend and got seated right away — though tables are cozy and space is tight. 📍 Jitlada Restaurant 5233 W Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90027 #LifeInTheUS #ThaiFood #FoodKnowsNoBorders #LAEats #EatAroundTheWorld #LosAngeles
