LA n/naka|A Refreshing Birthday Dinner Experience 🎂✨

Looking back at the photos, this meal still brings a smile to my face! After a disappointing kaiseki experience, I thought I’d never fall in love again—but n/naka proved me wrong. My expectations weren’t sky-high beforehand, but after tasting, I’m already planning my next visit! Perfect for those feeling a bit tired of omakase—this place rekindles the joy. 🫰🏼 ————————— The truffle pasta was unforgettable—absolutely divine! 😋 The portions were surprisingly generous— Just when I thought the Wagyu marked the end, followed by dessert… We were treated to six more pieces of sushi and a handroll! 🍣 Dessert came in three delightful courses, and since it was my birthday, they even gifted an extra sweet treat! Before the bill, we enjoyed matcha cookies and yōkan (sweet bean jelly). And after paying, they gave us more pastries to take home! A truly full-circle, memorable experience ✌️ (Shoutout to all the high-end Japanese spots that serve tamagoyaki as dessert—this is how it’s done!) 📍 $450 per person Came straight from work vibes, but left with a cute photo with the chef! They even have staff to take Polaroid birthday pics— When the chef personally wishes you a happy birthday, it just hits different 🥳 Lastly, big thanks to my speedy friend who snagged the reservation, to my lovely friend who joined me for this birthday feast, and to the one who surprised me with a cake! Best birthday dinner ever 💋 Have you been to n/naka or celebrated a special occasion at a memorable restaurant?
