LA Newport’s Can’t-Miss Seafood Restaurant! 🦞🌊

Bear Flag Fish is a unique seafood spot that combines a restaurant with a fresh market! I originally went for their high-quality oysters 🦪, but ended up blown away by every single dish. As you enter, the left side features a fresh seafood counter and marinated ready-to-eat items. At the ordering counter, you can grab pre-mixed poke bowls and ceviche to go—each order comes with complimentary nachos, which pair perfectly! 🥑🍤 The biggest surprise was the calamari—topped with a seasoning that had a subtle nori-like flavor. It’s the first time I’ve had fried squid that tasted so uniquely delicious! 🦑 That day happened to be one of many Mid-Autumn Festivals I’ve spent abroad.
