LA Peruvian Food – Recommended by Ma Boqian 🇵🇪🍽️

📍 Mario’s Peruvian & Seafood Tried this Peruvian spot in LA recommended by Ma Boqian—personally, I thought the flavors were just okay. Ordered a few popular dishes from online reviews, but nothing really wowed me. 💣 Ceviche de Pescado – Way too salty and sour for my taste. Salteado de Mariscos – The flavor was decent, portion was large. You can also try their chicken or steak rice—it’s their specialty. Jalea de Mariscos – Fried seafood platter, pretty ordinary—not a must-order. Parihuela – Tomato-based seafood soup, pretty fresh and loaded with ingredients. Also tried Peru’s signature cola—tastes just like cream soda we usually drink. The restaurant’s vibe is average, parking isn’t very convenient. Only upside: it’s on Melrose Street, so you can go shopping after eating. But personally, I wouldn’t go back for a second try. 🙂↔️ Have you been to Mario’s? What’s your favorite Peruvian dish in LA?
