LA SGV LaaLaaPan Indonesian Cuisine | Overcooked π
The food looks great in photos, but almost every dish was overcooked β too dry and tough. Wonβt be coming back. π π’π’π’π’π’ Sate Ayam (Chicken Satay) β This was the only good dish! It really captured that authentic Southeast Asian satay flavor, and the chicken was tender. π π±π±π±π±π± 18 Nasi Tumpeng Mini β A mixed platter with a bit of everything. Looks pretty, but tastes very average. Only the chicken skewers were good; the rest were disappointing. The fried noodles were dry like cardboard π; the beans were okay at first but got greasy quickly; the beef was spicy but not tender or flavorful β it got stuck in my teeth π¬; the egg strips were justβ¦ egg. πππππ 14 Nasi Ayam Bakar Komplit β Grilled chicken combo, but even the thigh was super dry and tough. The soup had a strange taste Iβve never experienced before β definitely not my thing. Total letdown. π£π£π£π£π£ π 19948 Ventura Blvd, Woodland Hills, CA 91364 Have you had better luck with Indonesian food in LA?
