LA Shopping Guide — All You Need to Know! 🛍️✨
My biggest hauls in LA were Arc'teryx and Alo Yoga! Arc'teryx because of the price difference (around 70% of China’s retail price, with bigger gaps on pricier items). Alo because of the full selection (prices similar to Chinese reseller platforms like Dewu). We hit three shopping areas: 📍 Fashion Island (Irvine) Our first stop — overlooking the ocean, beautiful setting! Got most of my Arc'teryx and Alo here — less crowded, well stocked, and FREE parking! Love it here — if I had to nitpick, it’s a bit spread out (Ralph Lauren was under construction) and lacks top luxury brands (though cosmetics stores are present). 📍 The Grove Feels like a Disney-style outdoor mall with % Arabica coffee and nice Italian restaurants (shoutout to Sushi Gen 🍣). Stores are clustered together — paid parking, but shopping/dining receipts can offset part of the fee. Bought a few Alo pieces here — busy, fitting rooms are small with lines, but staff were kind and offered seating while waiting. 📍 Beverly Hills + Melrose Avenue Melrose focuses on boutique brands — Jacquemus, The Row, etc. The Row’s interior felt like an art gallery (no photos allowed 😢). Beverly Hills is more high-end luxury — VCA, Chanel, LV, etc. Didn’t explore much since prices weren’t appealing — just visited Erewhon and headed to the coast for a meal! #LosAngeles #LAShopping #BeverlyHills #Irvine #IrvineShopping #IrvineLife #WhatToBuyInLA
