LA Super Affordable Omakase ｜ Private Dining Experience

I only booked this place one day in advance — and accidentally reserved for the wrong date 😅 I thought my money was gone, but when I called, they actually let me change the date! Tock usually says no changes — so that was awesome of them 🙏 Went at 8 PM and… no one else was there — we had the whole place to ourselves! That means the owner opened just for us two 🥹… and even prepared flowers. Flavor: Every piece was delicious and fresh. Traditional nigiri style, but each had its own distinct marinade — nothing tasted repetitive. My favorites: 💛 Uni 💙 Otoro 🐟 Salmon 🦐 Sweet shrimp (special of the night — I added it on!) ➕ I also added an extra order of otoro — so worth it 😋 Menu Options: They offer two sets: 13–14 pieces of sushi — $140 3 appetizers + 8 pieces of sushi — $145 I went with the appetizer set. Extra sushi added $34 total. Portions: More than enough for me — I even asked for half rice on some pieces later on. But I loved the sashimi so much I still added two more 😆 Overall: ✅ Great when you want omakase but can’t get into booked-up spots ✅ Amazing value for the price ✅ Perfect if you prefer quieter, more intimate settings ✅ Introvert-friendly — chef isn’t overly chatty (in a good way!) ⚠️ Don’t arrive too early — they open right on time, so you might have to wait outside.
