LA Super Affordable Omakase ο½ Private Dining Experience
I only booked this place one day in advance β and accidentally reserved for the wrong date π I thought my money was gone, but when I called, they actually let me change the date! Tock usually says no changes β so that was awesome of them π Went at 8 PM andβ¦ no one else was there β we had the whole place to ourselves! That means the owner opened just for us two π₯Ήβ¦ and even prepared flowers. Flavor: Every piece was delicious and fresh. Traditional nigiri style, but each had its own distinct marinade β nothing tasted repetitive. My favorites: π Uni π Otoro π Salmon π¦ Sweet shrimp (special of the night β I added it on!) β I also added an extra order of otoro β so worth it π Menu Options: They offer two sets: 13β14 pieces of sushi β $140 3 appetizers + 8 pieces of sushi β $145 I went with the appetizer set. Extra sushi added $34 total. Portions: More than enough for me β I even asked for half rice on some pieces later on. But I loved the sashimi so much I still added two more π Overall: β Great when you want omakase but canβt get into booked-up spots β Amazing value for the price β Perfect if you prefer quieter, more intimate settings β Introvert-friendly β chef isnβt overly chatty (in a good way!) β οΈ Donβt arrive too early β they open right on time, so you might have to wait outside.
