LA Thai Food 🇹🇭|Budget Michelin Spot Luv2eat — Honestly, Just Okay

Went last week to this super popular restaurant — actually our second attempt. First try was on Lunar New Year’s Day — they were closed, so we missed out. That made us think: “It must be amazing if it’s so popular and even closed for the holiday!” So we went again last week with high expectations. No wait, no reservation needed — got a table right away (compared to Ruen Pair’s 30+ minute waits). Verdict: Pretty average — wouldn’t go back. Ruen Pair is still the one for me. 1️⃣ Jade BBQ Noodle ⭐️⭐️⭐️ The most recommended dish — but honestly just okay 😅 Noodles were dry and salty, pork cracklings were too hard, char siu was bland. The only good part was the roast duck. Overall — dry and not very satisfying. 2️⃣ Grilled Marinated Pork ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Pork collar was decent — nice charcoal aroma, though the dipping sauce was just okay. Meat was cut in big strips — would be better in smaller pieces. Solid, but not worth a special trip. 3️⃣ Crab Meat Fried Rice ⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ Another dry dish — found a bit of crab shell in the rice. It was fragrant, but nowhere near the “mind-blowing” level some reviews claim. Ordered three of their most recommended dishes — overall, pretty unremarkable. 📍 Luv2eat Thai Bistro 6660 W Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90028 💰 ~$40 per person 🏠 Ambiance: 3/5 #ThaiFood #LAThaiFood #LAEats #LAFoodLetdown #LAThai #ThaiCuisine #LosAngeles
