LA Thai-Style Omakase Fine Dining π£ A Truly Unique Experience!
I actually dined here back in March and finally remembered to share my experience! Trying hard to clear out my drafts folder right now~ πͺβ¨ Iβve pretty much tried all the Michelin-starred spots in LA that I could book, so I decided to check out some fine dining gems that havenβt yet earned a star. Itβs become my weekly date with myself π This time, I went for a Thai-style omakase β such a creative and memorable dining experience! The theme featured snow crab π¦, and the whole atmosphere was super chill. The chef is a woman β so talented and friendly! π©π³π She loves chatting with guests and even enjoys a glass of wine π· with them. (Fun fact: I found out she lives in the same apartment building as me β small world, right? Weβve run into each other a few times haha!) The Thai-Japanese fusion dishes π£ were incredibly satisfying and delicious π The only minor downside was that the tempura felt a bit too oily. I ordered fresh coconut water π₯₯, and as a total coconut enthusiast, I was in heaven! Kinkan π 771 N Virgil Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90029 π° $195 per person for the tasting menu β such reasonable pricing! After tax and tip, it came to around $250. Reservations are available via Tock. Iβll definitely be going back β the vibe isnβt overly fancy, but you can tell all the heart goes into the food π΄ The entrance is a bit tricky to find β I parked on the street. Service was warm and attentive! Have you ever tried a fusion omakase like this? Whatβs the most creative fine dining experience youβve had? Share below β Iβd love new ideas for my next solo date! ππ₯° #LAEats #LAFoodGuide #LAFoodie #LosAngelesDining #LAFineDining #LAOmakase #GoodFoodGoodVibes #EatPretty #DateNightIdeas #ThaiFusion #JapaneseCuisine #CreativeDining #WomenChefs #CaliDining #FoodieAdventure #HiddenGemLA #SoloDate #TastingMenu #FoodReview #CoconutLover #KinkanLA #EagleRockEats
