LA Travel Hotel Guide: Near the Airport 🛫✨

Not exactly a guide, but sharing some personal travel tips! 📍 Hyatt Regency Stayed here on my first and last nights near the airport. Booked way in advance for under $200—pretty good deal! The hotel is solid—super close to the airport, but the window soundproofing is amazing—can’t hear a single plane! ✈️🔇 On the flip side, the door insulation is weak… heard the neighbors partying all night like it was a festival 😅🎉 They charge for luggage storage 🧳💸, but there’s a Subway nearby for breakfast 🥪, and In-N-Out is just a 10-minute walk (though you might pass someone loudly ranting about Trump on the way 🗣️😂). 📍 Holiday Inn Booked this for my last night to return the rental car easily—but I rushed and booked the wrong one! The one near Hertz is the Express version; I ended up at another Holiday Inn 30 minutes away on foot 🚶♂️… This was the worst stay of the trip: stinky carpet, elevators that don’t need key cards (and smell like 🌿), bad breakfast, etc. 😬 It was advertised on Ctrip as “Chinese Preferred” 😅… shuttle service was super limited (every 30–40 mins). But I slept well—good soundproofing (or maybe quiet neighbors?). Have you had any funny or frustrating hotel experiences near an airport?
