LA Weekly Eats 🍽️💫
🍛 Roasted Duck by Pa Ord – Had the roasted duck rice and crispy pork belly. The pork belly was delicious, and the duck had a unique spiced flavor (might be a personal preference thing), but their house sauces were amazing! 🥘 ried the sour soup pork knuckle and pickled mustard greens with red beans. The pickled greens and beans are still a favorite! The pork knuckle soup was a red broth version—some might prefer a clear broth—and the mountain pepper flavor was quite strong. 🍲 (Chao Xiang) – Braised radish with beef offal and beef soup. Sadly, no chili sauce this time, which took away a bit of the punch, but the beef soup was still comforting and flavorful. 🍚 (Bo Bo Tea Cafe) – Steamed rice with Chinese sausage and pork ribs + pear in rock sugar soup. So delicious—highly recommend! Freshly steamed rice makes all the difference. 🌶️ (Rong He Sichuan Cuisine) – Beef tongue, beef tendon, pickled pepper black fish fillet, and duck in mala broth. The forever-popular spot with consistent lines—and for good reason. Flavor-packed and satisfying! 🥗 Erewhon – Another healthy week in the books! Feeling good and fueled. 💪🥑 🥩(Gou Li Chaoshan Beef) – Beef hot pot set. Always a comfort favorite! The beef fat/collar cut was slightly different this time, but still tasty. A flavorful, varied, and fulfilling food week across LA! Whether it’s spicy Sichuan, cozy Cantonese, or clean eats, there’s always something delicious to explore. 🥢✨ #LAEats #LAFoodie #LAWeekly #LA #FoodDiary #LA #EatLocal #TryThemAll #FoodAdventures
