C’est La Vie — a French restaurant right by the beach in Laguna Beach. The name means “Such is life” in French, and that’s exactly the vibe here. Life has its ups and downs, but gazing at the ocean and enjoying good food makes everything feel better. Maybe that’s the secret to living well—savor the moment and face the future with a full heart 😌 We were hungry, so we went straight for the pasta—and it was fantastic! Started with fresh baguette slices to nibble on while waiting. 🍝 Filet Mignon Pasta Tender beef in a creamy rosemary sauce. The mushrooms tasted like a rich cream of mushroom soup. Served with fettuccine—thick, hearty, and satisfying. 🍝 Cajun Jambalaya Pasta Not too spicy, more tangy and tomato-forward. The peppers were surprisingly delicious (and I usually don’t like peppers!). Chicken was decent, but the shrimp was plump, sweet, and bouncy. 🍝 Fettuccine “C’est La Vie” Extra creamy Alfredo-style sauce with basil and tomato.
