Laguna Beach's Delicious Hidden Gem — C’est La Vie 🌊🍝

C’est La Vie is a French restaurant right by the beach in Laguna Beach. The name means “That’s life” — and indeed, life isn’t always perfect, but gazing at the ocean and savoring good food makes worries fade and reminds us that everything will pass. 😌 Perhaps that’s the essence of life: enjoy the present and face the future with intention. We were all hungry today, so we went for the heartiest pasta dishes — and they were amazing! 🥖 First, freshly sliced baguette arrived to snack on while we waited. 🍝 Filet Mignon Pasta Tender beef in a creamy, rosemary-infused sauce. The mushrooms tasted like creamy mushroom soup — so good! We chose fettuccine, which is wider and heartier. 🍅 Cajun Jambalaya Not too spicy — instead, rich with tomato tanginess that really whets the appetite. The bell peppers were the star (and I usually don’t even like peppers!). The chicken was decent, but the shrimp was perfectly springy and sweet. 🧀 Fettuccine “C’est La Vie” Again, chicken could’ve been juicier, but the sauce was incredibly creamy — even richer than the previous one.
