Laguna Beach's Michelin One

Tried a Michelin-starred Omakase restaurant in Laguna Beach — Rebel Omakase. Booked a month in advance and went with high expectations 😄 Rebel’s setting is actually quite simple — tucked away in an unassuming corner of Laguna’s main street. Walking in feels like stepping into a tiny culinary world. The restaurant is small, but the intimate vibe makes it relaxing and warmly inviting. From what I recall, there are only about 12 seats — soft lighting, quiet atmosphere, perfect for chatting and unwinding with friends. My photos don’t do it justice, but each course was incredibly fresh and stunning — flavors were bright, clean, and simply melted in the mouth. Service was top-notch too (well, it is Michelin-starred after all 😉). They replaced napkins multiple times and checked in often 🤣 With each dish, the staff naturally introduced its story and background — little touches that made the experience feel special and personal. 💰 Cost per person: Around $300 (before tax, tip, and drinks) Worth trying at least once — just remember to book early!
