A Less Crowded but Stunning Cherry Blossom Spot Is Totally Worth It! πΈ ππΈ If you don't want to deal with the crowds in central Kyoto to see cherry blossoms, head to the Mii-dera Temple located beside Lake Biwa. It's just a 10-minute JR train ride from Kyoto, plus a 30-minute walk. π ππΈ The cherry blossoms stretch from the shores of Lake Biwa, along the canal, all the way up to the temple on the hillside. It's incredibly beautiful! πΈ π Transportation: Take the San'in Main Line from Kyoto Station to Otsu Station. It only takes 10 minutes. After arriving, just head towards Mii-dera Temple on foot. You can pick up a coffee at the station and enjoy it along the wayβit's super relaxing! βοΈ πΈ Route: Start at Mii-dera Temple, then follow the canal, cross the tram bridge with cherry blossoms, and take a walk along Lake Biwa.
