Lancaster | Restaurant Recommendation (A Taste That Moves You To Tears 🥹)

Strolling around town with a friend, we came across a nearby spot that my friend suddenly remembered had a delicious restaurant. From the outside, it looks quite ordinary, even tucked away in a small corner, but once inside, you realize that good food doesn't need a flashy location. 🍹 Atmosphere It's a comfortable kind of bustling, with many people but not overwhelmingly crowded. Upon entering, they ask if you have a reservation. If not, you might have to wait at the small bar by the door for a table to free up (we only waited a few minutes). While looking at the menu, I noticed several families dining together. When the waiter routinely asked how the food was, the elderly lady was particularly delighted with her meal (saying it was very perfect and lovely). I was thinking, "Is it really that good?" We were both very hungry and felt the food took a bit long to come out, but once we started eating, we completely forgot about the wait (hehe~) 🍝 Dishes: For the appetizer, we chose COCKTAIL DE GAMBERETTI: The shrimp was not fishy, the sauce was not greasy, but instead, they merged in a wonderful way. It was like sweet shrimp perfectly seasoned and boiled until they naturally burst with juice, then drizzled with lemon juice to give it a light sweet and sour taste that made the dish more refreshing and appetizing (I thought only a small layer on top was shrimp, but in fact, there was only a thin layer of vegetables underneath, and the rest was filled with shrimp and sauce). For the main course, we chose CANNELONI (my friend's choice, meat lovers would be very happy) and FUSILLI BOLOGNESE (my choice): The spiral pasta had just the right texture, generously mixed with rich tomato sauce as a base, and the minced meat was well-prepared, fragrant without any off smell, and not greasy. It must have been seasoned with many spices, but when combined, they created a very cohesive and harmonious flavor. The plate was hot, and the pasta was piping, with each bite enveloped in thick tomato sauce, rich minced meat, and pasta, it was eye-opening. For the snack, we chose onion rings. The white onion rings were coated with batter and fried until crispy on the outside and sweet and soft on the inside. They were good, but the oil might have been a bit old. The first bite had a strong oil taste that covered the onion rings, but the ones pressed down at the bottom didn't have that old oil taste. My review is: It's on par with the best, I wish I had found it sooner, and the dining experience was warm and blissful 🥰. #Lancaster #LancasterUni #LancasterUniversity #LancasterFood #LancasterCuisine #UK #UKLife #Delicious #Touching #ComeAndEat
