Last Day of LA Restaurant Week❗️ $99 Unlocks Michelin Dining❗️
Citrin — service was on point (it is Michelin, after all). Can you guess what that sticker is for? 🤔 Their wine list is interesting too. Food-wise — at regular prices, I probably wouldn’t come. But $99 for four courses? There’s no dish that won’t sell at the right price. Pre-course: A summery amuse-bouche — cheese-based with fruity notes. Refreshing and appetite-whetting. First Course: 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌗 Tomato Soup So interesting — hot and cold in one bowl! Strawberry sorbet meets rich tomato soup, with toasted pistachios lingering at the end. Second Course: 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑 Rhode Island Black Bass Crispy skin, tender flesh. The sauce soaked in perfectly — savory but still let the fish’s sweetness shine. Well-balanced, not heavy. Third Course: 🌕🌕🌕🌑🌑 Wolfe Ranch Quail The meat was excellent quality, cooked just right — but the seasoning was disappointingly plain. The jus? Honestly, a dash of soy sauce might’ve done more. Such a waste of good quail. Three stars only for the texture and cook. (My partner had the Brandt Beef Filet and Short Rib — I tried a bite, and it was much better than my quail.) Fourth Course: 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌑 Yellow Peach and Yuzu "Pie" A bit of a wait, but as a closing dessert — no complaints. It carried that fresh, summery vibe through to the end — leaving you with a light, fruity finish as you walk out. #LAAround #StudentLife #MichelinRestaurant #LAMichelin #LAFrenchCuisine #PrettyFood #LAEats
